• Register & sign-up for class on-line to save time when you arrive at the studio.
  • Store your belongings in a cubby or locker.  Only bring yoga mat and towel into the hot room.
  • Arrive early and relax on your mat with feet facing the back wall (the wall with double doors).
  • Class will start and end on time to respect everyone's schedule.  The studio entrance door will be locked at class start time.
  • Maintain silence in the hot room before and after class so that others can rest without disruption.
  • Remember that everyone is on a unique journey.  Don't judge or compare your practice to others'.  Focus on self-acceptance, mind-body connection, self-realization.
  • Practice together as a class and engage in the instruction.  Beautiful group energy can be created throughout the session.
  • Adhere to the postures as instructed, even if you have practiced other variations.
  • The first formal water break occurs after beginning breathing and 3rd posture (eagle pose).  Try to postpone water intake until you hear the “PARTY TIME” announcement.  Take small sips of water as needed between poses.  Drink water between poses to avoid distracting practitioners working within poses.  Monitor how much water you drink.  Too much water can be uncomfortable and disruptive to your practice.
  • Remember that smells/fragrance can cause nausea, headaches and other discomfort to practitioners.  Some practitioners shower prior to class.  Wear scent-free products.
  • Just before final savasana, you will be offered a cold towel treated with beneficial essential oils.  Please place your hands on your stomach if you don’t want one.
  • After final breathing exercise, try to rest at least 3-5 minutes so that your body can absorb all of your hard work.
  • After class, place your yoga towel in the plastic bag provided.
  • Children and animals are not permitted in the studio.  Children 13 years of age and older can participate in class.
